The Safe Cosmetics Alliance is comprised of the Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers & Distributors (ICMAD), International Fragrance Association North America (IFRA), Professional Beauty Association (PBA), Direct Selling Association (DSA), and the Personal Care Products Council (PCPC).

IFRA North America

IFRA North America represents the fragrance materials industry in the United States and Canada. Member companies create and manufacture perfumes and fragrances for personal care, home care, and home design products. Companies that supply fragrance ingredients, such as essential oils and other raw materials, are also members.

Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers & Distributors

Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers & Distributors (ICMAD) represents 650 member companies who are manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, retailers and consultants in the cosmetic and personal care industries worldwide. Its mission is represent, educate and foster the growth and profitability of such entrepreneurial companies and to ensure their compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Professional Beauty Association

The Professional Beauty Association's (PBA) purpose is to advance the professional beauty industry by providing its members with business tools, government advocacy, education, networking, events and more to ensure business and career success with integrity. PBA is the largest organization of salon professionals with members representing salons and spas, distributors, manufacturers, and licensed beauty professionals.

Direct Selling Association

The Direct Selling Association (DSA) is the national trade association of the leading firms that manufacture and distribute goods and services sold directly to consumers.

Personal Care Products Council
